The tradition of the Passing of the Eagle goes back to the early 1990’s. The eagle goes to the attorney who wins a jury trial and stays with that attorney until the next attorney wins. The last attorney to have possessed the Eagle was attorney Matt Millea.

Joel Robbins successfully earned the Eagle back from Matt when he won a jury trial in March 2022 beating the defendant’s offer.
