Lisa Shipman came to Arizona in 2016 seeking refuge from the cold Chicago winters. She’s been interested in law since junior high. Before committing to law school, she tried the paralegal route and found that she really enjoyed working behind the scenes. “Helping to right injustices” inspires the work she does today.

She has three “fur babies,” two goldendoodles and a pitbull/chihuahua mix. In her freetime she likes to hike in the beautiful locations in Arizona. She has taken up the new hobby of sewing. When it comes to books, her favorite reads are biographies and psychological thrillers.
